The concept of "school coaching" and its educational and psychological dimensions
(Practical examples in Lebanese schools)

يهدف هذا البحث إلى استكشاف مفهوم "الكوتشينغ" (التدريب) المدرسي، وتحليل أبعاده التربويّة والنفسيّة والاجتماعيّة، مع التركيز على دوره في تحسين الأداء المهني للمعلمين، وتعزيز جودة التعليم.
يعتمد البحث على المنهج التحليلي لمناقشة المحاور النظرية والعملية للكوتشينغ، واستعراض التحديات التي تواجه تطبيقه في السياقات المدرسية في لبنان والدول العربية، مع تقديم توصيات مستقبلية قابلة للتطبيق. أما أبرز ما توصل إليه البحث فهو أن الكوتشينغ، عند تطبيقه ضمن بيئة داعمة ومتكاملة، يشكّل أداة فعّالة في بناء ثقافة مدرسيّة قائمة على التطوير المستمر والممارسات التعليمية الفعّالة.

- Abstract:
This research aims to explore the concept of school coaching and analyze its educational, psychological, and social dimensions, with a focus on its role in improving teachers’ professional performance and enhancing the quality of education. The study adopts an analytical approach to discuss both the theoretical and practical aspects of coaching, examines the challenges of its implementation in Arab educational contexts, and provides applicable future recommendations. The findings indicate that when implemented within a supportive environment, coaching becomes an effective tool for building a school culture rooted in continuous development and effective instructional practices.
