دمج التكنولوجيا في معرفة القراءة والكتابة
يمكن تطبيق التكنولوجيا في معرفة القراءة والكتابة بطرق متنوعة لدعم وتحسين التدريس. أصبح دمج التكنولوجيا في تعليم القراءة والكتابة أكثر أهمية بشكل تدريجي حيث يحاول المعلمون خلق بيئة مثيرة للاهتمام لمجموعة واسعة من المتعلمين، وأصبح العالم واحدًا في معرفة القراءة والكتابة التقنية والتواصل العالمي. طلاب اليوم ماهرون وواثقون من استخدام التقنيات المتاحة لهم في المنزل وخارج المدرسة ويستخدمونها بشكل معتاد في حياتهم اليومية.
تعدّ التقنيات مثل: أجهزة الكمبيوتر وأجهزة I-pads والأجهزة اللوحية والعديد من الأشكال الأخرى المتاحة على الإنترنت، مثل: المراسلة والبريد الإلكتروني والمدمج مع مواقع الشبكات الاجتماعية، كلّها طبيعة ثانية للطلاب اليوم. لهذه الأسباب، من الضروري أن يجد المعلمون طرقًا لإدخال هذه التقنيات إلى الفصل الدراسي من أجل سدّ الفجوة الموجودة بين المنزل والمدرسة، وإشراك الطلاب بطرق مألوفة ومريحة ومحفزة لهم. بمعنى آخر، تعدّ التكنولوجيا أداة تعليمية مهمة في الوقت الحاضر. وقد ميّز تطور الحياة البشرية في العديد من المجالات مثل: التفاعل الاجتماعي والترفيه والبحث وجمع المعلومات، وأصبح ضروريًا في الروتين اليومي للقرن الحادي والعشرين.

- Abstract:
The learners viewed technology as an instrument to maintain their learning as well as a means through which they can discuss sense. Incorporating technology into literacy education is becoming progressively more important as teachers try to create an interesting environment for a wide range of learners, and the world becomes one in technical literacy and global communication. Technology is available on the Internet, such as social media, messaging, email, and integrated with social networking sites. Today's students are skilled and confident in using the technologies available to them at home and outside of school, and they use them regularly in their daily lives.
